The Fleet
Modern, well-maintained aircraft ready to take you from Exeter to your destination.
Boeing 737 Family
The core of our mainline operation. Two variants of the 737 give us flexibility across short and medium-haul routes out of Exeter.
737-800
Main LineThe backbone of the CoastJet operation. A proven workhorse on short to medium-haul routes, carrying up to 162 passengers in a single-class layout. Reliable, efficient, and well understood by our crew.
737 MAX 8
Main LineThe next generation narrowbody. The MAX 8 brings improved fuel efficiency and extended range over the classic 737-800, making it ideal for longer sectors while keeping operating costs competitive.
ATR Family
Our regional turboprop fleet, primarily operated on CoastJet New Zealand routes. The ATR family connects smaller markets that larger jets cannot serve economically.
ATR 42-600
RegionalThe smaller of our two ATR variants, built for thinner routes and shorter sectors. Primarily operated in New Zealand, the ATR 42-600 serves destinations where a full jet would be uneconomical.
ATR 72-600
RegionalThe stretched sibling of the ATR 42, offering more seats where demand warrants it. Like the 42-600, the 72-600 is at home in New Zealand operations, scaling up capacity on busier regional sectors without stepping to a full jet.
Next Aircraft
Two new types planned for introduction within the next few months, expanding what CoastJet can fly and where.
Airbus A321neo
Extended RangeA major step up in capacity and range. The A321neo will open longer European sectors and serve higher-demand routes that our 737 fleet cannot cover as efficiently.
BAe RJ85
Regional JetA classic British regional jet that fits perfectly with CoastJet's Southwest identity. The RJ85 fills the gap between our turboprops and narrowbodies, operating regional jet routes from Exeter with character and flexibility.
